Our AdEasy platform runs like a well-oiled machine under the care of the QA Engineer. You come up with effective, automated (whenever possible) test plans for new features, conduct testing, analyse the results, and give improvement suggestions. You also iron out kinks and resolve bugs/glitches swiftly. This requires problem-solving aptitude, an analytical mind, a keen eye to detail, a spidey sense for quality issues, and good communication skills.
Your most important characteristic is that you leave no stone unturned in finding the solutions to the problems you encounter. You take into consideration all scenarios in detail, and understand the chain effect of how one thing may affect multiple dependencies. Your role is to ensure AdEasy is as problem-free as possible, so users can navigate our platform smoothly and find the right ad space.
You are passionate about quality: razor-sharp in reviewing and analysing specifications, detecting bugs, conducting pre and post release testing, and working with the bigger team to continuously uphold the platform’s standards. Your success is measured in your accuracy and speed in troubleshooting issues, flawless execution of test cases, and ability to document well.
Get cracking! You will be writing test cases for newly developed features on AdEasy’s platform, in order to determine if they are working correctly as they should.
Besides conducting tests on our awesome features, you’ll be joining forces with our Tech and Product teams to identify pesky edge cases and exterminate them like a pro. We have an open feedback culture here at AdEasy, so robust recommendations to enhance our testing methodologies are always welcomed.
6 months of greatness? Give yourself a pat on your back. Ready to take it to the next level? Time to tackle existing bug-laden features and stop errors from reoccurring. Not forgetting, checking up on the reported bugs to diagnose the root causes and nip them in the bud.
Glad you asked ...
A quick run-through to share what's done and what's in progress. If we face any roadblocks, we'll pool our talents to overcome them. We also conduct bi-weekly Sprints to plan and manage our workload.
We take our midday meals seriously. Don’t want hunger pangs to strike during crucial moments, right? So, what’s for lunch?
Status: DND unless you have snacks. It's showtime, folks - grab your trusty headphones, throw in a productivity playlist, put on a comfy hoodie (or whatever that helps you to focus) and work away.
Email your application to iwantajob@AdEasy.co. We aim to have top-notch interactions with users, so please make your email top-notch as well. We accept but not do not expect CVs and cover letters. We encourage applicants to be creative and blow us off our chairs by trying an out-of-the-box approach to showcase how you fit the QA Engineer characteristics, and what makes you a delightful person to have around.
PS: You must be able to work in Malaysia legally (no work permit will be provided)
PPS: If this isn’t the job for you, but perhaps you have a friend who would be a perfect fit, send him/her this link. Thanks!
