Offline media (also known as above-the-line (ATL) media or traditional media) refers to TV, radio, cinema, newspaper, and magazine (collectively called print media), and out-of-home (OOH) media such as billboards, digital billboard, trains, buses, taxis, etc. In a nutshell, it means advertising in the real world instead of in the online world.

Booking Ad Spaces

  1. Browse

    Use our search function and map view to find the best media that suit your needs. You can narrow your choices down by media type, media name, location, and campaign start date. If you need help figuring out your media buy, you can always check out our blog or write to us.


  2. Book and pay

    Once you've selected your ad space, enter your billing information, and review your booking details to confirm that everything is correct. After confirming your booking details, follow the instructions to make payment. Once the payment has gone through, you’ll receive an email confirmation with an invoice indicating that your booking has been paid for, and it's submitted to the media owner.

Your ad materials must comply with the advertising regulations in Malaysia. We recommend that you get to know the regulations of your chosen media (billboards, digital billboard, radio, cinema, TV, newspaper, magazine, etc.) before creating your ad.

Also, before your ad can go live, your ad materials might need to be submitted to the relevant regulatory board for approval. Don't worry, your media owner (or agency) will take care of all ad materials submission to the regulatory board for you. You can find all details, and the terms and conditions in your booking confirmation.

Once your booking has been confirmed, you can start working on creating your ad materials right away.

Step 1: Ad materials creation

Prepare the ad materials based on the media owner's requirements (see the "Ad Specs" section for each ad space).

Step 2: Ad materials approval

Send the final draft of your ad materials to AdEasy. Your materials will be submitted to the media owner and/or a regulatory body for approval. A friendly heads up: It doesn't happen often, but you may have to rework your ad materials a couple of times before getting the final green light. Here's how it works:

  • Radio: The final script needs to be sent to the radio station for approval. AdEasy will send your materials to the radio station for you.
  • Newspaper & Magazine: A PDF, JPEG, or PNG file of the confirmed artwork needs to be sent to the publisher for approval. AdEasy will send your materials to the publisher for you.
  • Billboard: As billboards are out-of-home (OOH) media, the billboard owner will send the artwork for approval from the city council governing the area where the billboard is located. AdEasy will send your materials to the billboard owner for you.
  • Cinema: The final cut of the video needs to be sent to the cinema operator for approval. The cinema operator will send the video to the relevant regulatory body(s) for approval. AdEasy will send your materials to the cinema operator for you.
  • TV: Same as cinema.

Important: For cosmetics, medicinal and related products containing health claims, you'll need approval from the relevant regulatory body(s), e.g. the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency, Medicine Advertisements Board, the Ministry of Health, etc. before running your ad.

Step 3: Ad materials submission

After your ad materials have been approved, your ad materials can be submitted! This is the final step before the go-live. Ad submission depends on how the media owner prefers the materials to be delivered – directly or through a network. The good news? AdEasy will take care of all ad deliveries for you. The deadline for materials submission can be found under the ‘Booking Policy’ section of every media profile page, and in your booking confirmation. You should always submit your ad materials well ahead of your campaign start date.

Payment

We currently accept payments via FPX, direct bank transfers, and cheque.

All payment instructions can be found upon clicking the "Pay Now" button. If you opt to "Save & Pay Later", you have 14 working days to make payment, or the booking will be automatically cancelled.

Once the transaction is completed successfully, we'll email you an invoice link. After your payment is verified, and your booking is submitted to the media owner, you'll be notified via email.

We help you deliver your ad materials for an ad delivery fee. All you have to do is submit your ad materials to AdEasy by the specified deadline. We'll take care of delivering the ad materials for you. You can find all instructions for materials submission in your booking confirmation.

Submissions through ad delivery networks: We partner with Adstream Asia OnTime and Datamation EADSWorld for digital transmissions.

Direct deliveries: We manage the email, pick-up, and delivery of submissions for you.

The total ad delivery fee is automatically calculated during checkout, and it is based on the media type, number of ad materials, and delivery method.

Your payment first goes to AdEasy. We hold the payment from the beginning of your booking process until your ad goes live.

If your booking isn't accepted by the media owner, we'll automatically convert your payment to AdEasy credit in your AdEasy account so you can easily use it for a new booking. You can always request for a refund directly through your original payment method. Send us an email at sales@AdEasy.co and we'll help you out.

Refunds and Cancellations

Once your booking is paid and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled. The payment you made is not refundable.

If your booking has been declined by the media owner or it has expired, your booking order will automatically be cancelled. You have 2 options to choose from:

  1. Make a new booking within 5 working days after the booking rejection date. Your payment will automatically be converted to AdEasy credit, so you won't have to make another payment for a new booking. If the new booking is cheaper or more expensive, we'll reimburse or bill you the difference respectively.
  2. Get a full refund within 15 working days after the booking rejection date.

Sorry, no refunds will be issued. We recommend booking your ad space and creating your ad well ahead of your submission deadline. Your materials must be submitted on time for approval or it won't be able to go live.

Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued. Pro tip: Review your materials and ensure they fully comply with the media owner's requirements before submitting to avoid non-approvals.
