Business Development Executives help a few types of AdEasy users. We guide newly signed-up users on how to use our website to their best benefit. And we give advice to users who are new to offline advertising on how to get started. They might feel daunted so we guide them through the entire advertising process—usually for a few campaigns—before they are confident enough to use AdEasy independently. We also provide customised media proposals, if required. We maintain excellent relationships with all users.

The most important characteristic of our team is that we love helping users run successful ad campaigns. No matter the size of our users’ businesses, be it big or small, AdEasy enables them to discover and book the right ad space in just a few clicks. Our job is to assist users each step of the way so they can have effective campaigns. That means doing research and fact-finding about users, so that we can help them make informed decisions.

In order to have more users to help, we proactively seek out potential users to introduce ourselves, and let them know how they can benefit from AdEasy. We also develop sales strategies, analyse market trends and past results, identify and monitor competitors, represent AdEasy at events, prepare monthly reports, and work closely with other teams to achieve company and business goals. These require a good business sense, resourcefulness, a positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Business Development Executives are excellent at sales and negotiation: able to clearly articulate ideas/sales pitches with initiative, drive and enthusiasm. We measure our success by the number of campaigns we help users run, and by the amount of returning happy users. The cherry on top of the cake—getting appreciation emails, with two or more smiley emojis in it.

Glad you asked ...

Meetings

We have 3-4 meetings daily. We meet new users to introduce AdEasy, and see how we can help them with their advertising needs. We catch up with existing users to see how we can further add value to them, and to ensure we’re always their go-to for offline advertising.

4:00 P.M.

Planning

After our meetings, we have our planning time. This is the fun part. We start by doing research—to find and get to know new users better, and to keep ourselves updated about current users—before coming up with (required) customised strategic proposals. We also use this time to schedule our meetings.

Team catch-up

Daily at 6pm, we end the day with a team catch-up call. Topics can be client-related, learnings, and so on.
